It was a beautiful day in the city yesterday and it was Team Photo Day. That's right, the employees of Propaganda Games went up to the roof of our Downtown Office for a team pic but I was smart enough to bring my camera as well. I got some random shots of the city and some of my co-workers as well as a few shots from the street. You check out the goodness HERE

I noticed a lot of the pictures (and in other sets, too) have been tinted, or saturated, or whatever. Are you doing that with your camera, or later in "post-production"?
If the latter, then that's cool. If the former, why (potentially) ruin a good shot with an effect you can't undo? Just curious.
It's a bit of both, you'll notice in the comments of each pic that I will say tinted or saturation. But there are so many different settings with the camera, I just keep trying different things and once in a while you strike gold.

Wouldn't it be easier (and make for better quality pictures) to not use the effects during shooting, but to photoshop the pic later?
Sure but if you are learning the camera, you want to try EVERYTHING out and then shoot how you like. Gotta give everything a try.
Trust me I got tons of pics I haven't posted, botched colors, bad focus, setting that did not work out. I just succumb everyone who looks at my pics to my education process as well.
I think they're great pics! Hey Cammy, remember the gallery we went to in Lahaina? Most of those pictures were tinted or saturated in some way.
I'm not saying the effects are bad, I'm just saying it makes more sense to do those on a computer, so you're not limiting your options with what can be done with the original later.
